The problem

Subscriptions are easy to start — and easy to forget.

A free trial here, an annual renewal there, a quiet price increase you never agreed to. None of it is obvious until it lands on your statement.

Forgotten trials

That 7-day trial you meant to cancel quietly flips into a paid plan — and keeps charging.

Annual renewal surprises

A yearly plan you signed up for last spring renews in one big charge you didn't see coming.

Scattered receipts & statements

Your recurring payments live across cards, app stores and inboxes — never in one clear view.

What Frobly does

Everything you pay for, finally in one place.

Frobly gives you a calm, complete picture of your recurring spend — and a heads-up before money leaves your account.

Find subscriptions in Gmail

Connect one Gmail mailbox and Frobly looks through the last 12 months for subscription receipts, trials, renewal notices, cancellations and price changes — then shows you what it found so you can review it before anything is imported. Read-only access: Frobly can't send, edit or delete email, and never opens attachments.

Unified dashboard

See every recurring charge — and what it adds up to — in a single, clear view.

Renewal reminders

Get notified before a trial ends or a plan renews, so a charge never takes you by surprise.

Statement import & review

Import a statement you choose to share and review the recurring charges Frobly spots.

Quick add

Add a subscription manually in seconds — name, price and renewal date, done.

Spending overview

Track what you spend per month and per year, so the total is never a mystery.

Privacy-first tracking

No bank connection and no transaction feed — you decide what to enter or import.

How it works

Set up in minutes. Stay in control.

Three simple steps — no bank connection, and nothing is added to your list without you.

1

Connect Gmail, or add them yourself

Connect one Gmail mailbox — the pairing is permanent, so pick the one you actually want to track — and Frobly searches it for subscription receipts, trials and billing changes. Prefer not to? Type subscriptions in by hand or import a statement file instead. You stay in charge of what goes in.

2

Review what Frobly finds

Frobly shows you each subscription it spotted and the evidence behind it. Confirm the ones to track, correct anything it got wrong, and skip the rest — nothing is imported automatically.

3

Get reminded before renewals

Frobly gives you a heads-up before trials end and plans renew — so you can decide and cancel on your terms.

A closer look

The same calm, focused app — on every screen.

Clarity at a glance

Monthly and yearly totals, active count, and your next renewal — all on the first screen.

Heads-up where it matters

Trials ending and renewals due in the next few days are flagged before they charge.

Yours, and only yours

No bank login, no spying on your spending — just the subscriptions you choose to track.

Private by design — not just by promise.

  • You choose what to import

Nothing is scanned automatically. You decide what to add by hand or import from a statement.

  • Nothing to sell, nothing to breach

Because Frobly never sees your bank data, there's no transaction history to sell or expose.

  • Secure payments by Stripe

When you upgrade, payment is handled by Stripe, which is the merchant of record through Link. Frobly never sees or stores your card details.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need to connect my bank?
No. Frobly never asks for your bank login. You add subscriptions yourself, or import a statement file you choose to share. Your bank credentials never touch Frobly.
Can I use Frobly for free?
Yes. The Free plan lets you track subscriptions manually and get renewal reminders, forever, plus one private preview of what Gmail is billing you for. It also includes 10 free statement scans once you create an account — each one covering up to 12 monthly PDF statements, or every transaction in a CSV export, whichever you choose — and 10 on-device scans on iPhone and Android. You get the real results: service names, amounts and dates, and you decide what to import. When you want statement scanning that refills every month, see the Gmail results in full and keep that mailbox monitored, turn on Guard ($4.99/mo, or $2.99/mo billed yearly) — only when you're ready.
How does finding subscriptions in Gmail work?
You connect one Gmail mailbox through Google's own sign-in — Frobly never sees your password, and this is separate from signing in to Frobly with Google. It then searches the last 12 months for billing-related messages: receipts, renewals, trials, cancellations and price changes. On the Free plan you get a private summary of how much it found. Guard reveals the details — service names, amounts, dates and the evidence behind each one — so you can review, correct and import them, and keeps watching that mailbox for new billing email. You review everything before it is imported: nothing is added to your subscriptions until you confirm it, and nothing already in your list is changed without you accepting that change field by field.
What can Frobly do with my email?
Read only, and nothing else. Frobly cannot send, edit or delete any email, and never asks for access to your contacts, Calendar or Drive. Being straight with you: Google's read-only permission covers your whole mailbox — there is no permission that covers only billing email — so what limits Frobly to billing mail is Frobly's own processing, not a restriction Google enforces. It stores what it extracts (the service, the amount, the dates) rather than keeping your messages, and it never opens attachments — invoice PDFs included. Your mailbox content is never sent to an AI provider or used to train one, and it is never used for advertising. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
How many mailboxes can I connect?
One Gmail mailbox per Frobly account, and the pairing is permanent. Once the first scan of that mailbox starts, your account is tied to it: you can disconnect and reconnect that same mailbox as often as you like — including to fix an expired connection — but you cannot switch to a different one, and there is no self-service way to change it. That is deliberate: it stops the free scan being farmed by rotating through mailboxes. So connect the mailbox you actually want to track. Disconnecting keeps every subscription you already confirmed. Gmail is the only provider today — no Outlook, no IMAP, no forwarding address.
How does statement import work?
You export a statement from your bank or card provider and import that file into Frobly. Frobly highlights the recurring charges it spots so you can review and confirm which ones to track. You stay in control of what gets added — nothing is connected or scanned automatically. Statement scanning runs on Frobly's server, so it needs a Frobly account; trying Frobly without one gives you manual tracking on your device only.
Will Frobly cancel subscriptions for me?
No. Frobly does not cancel anything on your behalf and never touches your accounts. It reminds you before renewals so you can cancel directly with the provider, on your own terms. You keep full control.
How do reminders work?
Frobly tracks each subscription's renewal and trial-end dates and notifies you ahead of time, so a free trial or annual renewal doesn't quietly turn into a surprise charge.
How is billing handled?
Frobly's paid plan — the Guard subscription — is billed through Stripe's Managed Payments, which makes Stripe, through Link, the merchant of record. Checkout and your receipts may show the purchase as “Sold through Link”. You subscribe from inside your signed-in account, so your plan stays tied to your Frobly profile, and Frobly never sees or stores your card details. Guard renews automatically until you cancel; cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period. There is no auto-renew trial. Prices are in USD and exclude tax, which Stripe adds at checkout. See our Cancellation & Refunds policy for details.
Is my data private?
Privacy is the default. There's no bank connection and no transaction feed — you choose what to enter, import, or connect. If you connect Gmail it is read-only, limited to billing-related messages, and you can disconnect and delete what Frobly derived from it at any time. Because Frobly never sees your bank login, there's nothing there to breach or sell. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
